Miellä on Stampavie and More -haasteessa uusi teema, joulu! :)
Käytin kortissani Lili of the Valleyn leimasinta, kuva on väritetty Distress Markereilla. Reunoille leimailin lumihiutaleita Stempelkellerin leimoilla, sulattelin sekaan vähän frantage-hippuja. Kuviopaperit ovat Pion Designin ja tekstileimasin Vilda Stampsin.

A new challenge started at Stampavie and More! The theme for the next two weeks is Christmas! :)

Addicted to Technics #10 - Embossausroiskeet

Kerrankin tuli tehtyä kortti Addicted to Technics -haasteeseen, aihe oli niin lähellä omaa mukavuusaluettani. :) Piti siis käyttää kohojauheita taustan tekemiseen ja minä käytin tässä kortissa kolmea eri jauhetta ekopaperille.
Leimakuva on The Greeting Farmin ja värittelin kuvan Spectrum Noireilla. Teksti on dymotettu.

I made the background by melting three different embossing powder on kraft paper. The stamp is from The Greeting Farm and I colored the image with Spectrum Noirs. The sentiment I made with Dymo.

P*skarteluhaaste #233 - Resepti

P*skiksessa on tällä viikolla aiheena resepti eli työstä pitää löytyä kahta pitsiä, nauhaa ja ruusuja. Kortissani käytin Reprintin kuvaa ja Cardmaking-lehden kylkiäisenä saatua Raspberry Roadin ruusupaperia. Paperien reunat on ressattu ja käsitelty Aleene's Glitter Snow:lla. Tervehdysteksti on Heidin korttipajan kartonkileike, johon sulattelin kohojauhetta päälle.

The image is from Reprint and the rose paperfrom Raspberry Road. I have distressed and added some Aleene's Glitter Snow on the edges.

Kesäkuu 2014 / June 2014

Askartelutaivaan Magnoliahaaste #24 - Muotokortti

Tämän kertaisessa Askartelutaivaan Magnoliahaasteessa tehdään muotokortteja eli kortin täytyy olla jotain muuta kuin neliö!
Omaan DT-työhöni leikkasin neliökorttipohjasta eri muotoisen GoKreaten stanssilla. Leimasin on tietysti Magnoliaa ja värittelin tällä kertaa Spectrum Noireilla. Kuvan ympärille tein pieniä helmiä Pearl Penillä, siipiin lisäsin kimalleliimaa. Taustapaperi on DoCraftsin Lemon Sorbet -lehtiöstä, leimailin siihen hunajakennoja Bo Bunnyn leimasimella ja kohokuvioin mustalla jauheella. Pyöreä tekstileimasin on Circle Itin.

The cute little Tilda has been colored with Spectrum Noirs for a change, there's glitter glue on the wings. I added some tiny pearls around the image with Pearl Pen. The yellow paper is from DoCrafts Lemon Sorbet pad and I used Bo Bunny's honeycomb stamp and black embossing powder to make the background.

Tein tämän kortin appivanhemmilleni, kun he saivat uuden koiran. Tekstileimasin on Stempelkellerin.

I Made this card for my in-laws as they got a new dog in the house. I used a Dovecraft dog stamp designed by Helz Cuppleditch and colored the image with Distress Inks. The pink paper in the background is from a pad called

Neiti Sininen / Miss Blue

Sinisävyinen vintagekortti Reprintin kuvalla ja Priman Moulin Rouge -lehtiön papereilla, joiden reunat on ressattu. Finnstamperin onnitteluteksti on koholeimattu kuultopaperille. Tästä tuli tahattomasti jälkikäteen mieleen Hitchcockin Linnut-leffa, kun nainen tuntuu hiukan kavahtavan lähestyvää lintua... :)

A blue toned vintage card with Reprint's image. The papers are from Prima's Moulin Rouge pad and I've distressed the edges. The sentiment has been embossed on vellum. After I saw the finished card, it reminded me of Hitchcock's famous movie The Birds as the lady seems to be afraid of the bird coming nearer... :) This was not intentional.
