Uuden vuoden kunniaksi uusi haaste Stampavie and Moressa! Aiheena on nauha.
Kortissani on Lili of the Valleyn leimakuva, jonka väritin Master's Pastels -liiduilla. Paperit ovat Echo Parkin Winter Park -lehtiöstä.

I've used a stamp from Lili of the Valley and colored the image with Master's Pastels. The papers are from Echo Park Winter Park pad.

Stampavie and More Challenge #226 - Snowflakes

Meillä on uusi aihe Stampavie and More -haasteessa ja se on lumihiutaleet! Minun kortissani paperit ovat Docraftsin Silent Night -sarjaa, Inkadinkadon linnun leimasin kohojauheella ja sulattelin frantagea ympärille. Puiset hiutaleet ja teksti on maalattu valkoiseksi ja käsitelty vielä kimallemaalilla.

Another challenge has begun at Stampavie and More and the theme is Snowflakes!I have used Docrafts Silent Night papers in my card and heat embossed Inkadinkado's bird. There's frantage aroud the image and the wooden snowflakes and the sentiment have been painted white and again with glitter paint.

We have another new challenge over at Stampavie and More and this time it's anything goes!
I'm going to be an aunt so of course I made a card to congratulate on the pregnancy. The stamp is from The Greeting Farm and I used ProMarkers for coloring. The papers are from DoCrafts Parisienne Blue pad.

Isänpäivä / Father's Day

Vietämme tänään Isänpäivää ja appiukolle viemme perinteisesti punaviinipullon. Tein pullon kaulaan roikkumaan koristeen DoCraftsin Wellington-sarjan papereilla ja kuvalla.

Today we are celebrating Father's Day here in Finland. We traditionally give my father-in-law a bottle of red wine and this time I made a tag to hang from the bottle neck. The papers and image are from DoCrafts Wellington range.

Koukussa Kortteihin -yhteisön haasteessa oli aiheena kortti, jossa pääosassa isot numerot. Osallistuin tällä kortilla, jossa käytin taustalla DoCraftsin Oriental Treasure -lehtiön osittain kullattua kuviopaperia. Koristeena on itämaisia kolikoita.

Tällä kertaa Stampavie and More -haasteessa on aiheena yksivärisyys! Tarkoituksena on siis käyttää yhden värin eri sävyjä.
DT-kortissani käytin Maja Designin Vintage Autumn Basics -lehtiön papereita. Leimasin on Crafty Individulasin valmistama.

This time the theme at Stampavie and More Challenge is monochrome! The idea is to use shades of one color in the card.

Sinellin askartelukirppiksellä

Olin myymässä tarpeettomaksi käyneitä askartelutarvikkeita Sinellin järjestämässä askartelukirppistapahtumassa. Kirppiksen vieressä oli myös korttipaja, jossa sai tehdä tämän kivan ja miehekkään kortin.

I sold some crafting supplies at a craft flea market at a local craft store. There was also a card workshop where one could make this nice and manly card.

Koukussa Kortteihin haaste #149 - Bingo

Koukussa Kortteihin -yhteisön haasteessa oli aiheena bingo, josta valitsin rivin kuva - keltanen - kukkia. Leimasin on Adam Pescottin suunnittelema, väritetty ProMarkereilla. Taustalle kohokuvioin tähtiä ja kuviopaperi on First Editionin valmistamasta Animal Antics -lehtiöstä.

The teddy stamp is designed by Adam Pescott and I've colored the image with ProMarkers. I've embossed stars in the background and the patterned papers is from First Edition Animal Antics pad.

KK Jouluhaaste #1 - Bingo

Pirtsakka joulukortti, jossa käytin My Mind's Eyen Snowed In -lehtiön papereita ja saman sarjan pahvikuvioita. Osallistuin kortilla Koukussa Kortteihin Jouluhaasteeseen, jossa oli aiheena bingo. Oma bingorivini on nauha - teksti - joulupallo.

Stampavie and More #223 - Anything But A Card

Uusi haaste on taas julkaistu Stampavie and Moressa! Aiheena on jotain muuta kuin kortti.
Minä tuunasin laatikon kakkupaperien säilytystä varten. Gessosin laatikon ensin pariin kertaan, koska siinä oli aika voimakas kuvio ja halusin sen piiloon. Sitten kiinnitin Upikitin Peony Love -lehtiön papereita pohjalle ja reunat käsittelin Aleene's Glitter Snowlla. Lävistetyt perhoset käsittelin parilla eri glitterillä ja lumiaineella, kukat värjäsin pinkillä mistillä. Ballerinaleimasin on Stampendousin ja väritin kuvan ProMarkereilla, siivissä on kimalleliimaa.

I recycled a box to keep my doilies in. First I painted teh box with Gesso a few times because the pattern and colors were quite strong and I wanted it all hidden. The I attached some papers from Upikit Peony Love pad on the box and added Aleene's Glitter Snow on the edges. The punched butterflies have been coated with glitter and snow, the flowers got some pink mist on them. The ballet dancer stamp is from Stampendous and I've colored it with ProMarkers and added some glitter glue on the wings.

Tässä kortissa käytin Carta Bellan All Hallow's Eve -lehtiön papereita, joiden reunat ressasin ja mustetin. Teksti on Authentiquen Enchanted-sarjan tarra-arkista.

We have a new challenge theme at Simply Create Too and it's Halloween! I love to make Halloween cards even though it's not celebrated much in Finland. In my DT card I've used papers from Carta Bella All Hallow's Eve pad, I've distressed and inked the edges. The sentiment is a sticker from Authentique Enchanted range.
