Stampavie and Moressa on uusi haaste! Haasteen aiheena on pinkki, joten nyt tyttömäisiä kortteja väsäämään. :)

Simply Create Too -haasteessa on tällä kertaa aiheena kauniit naiset ja käytin tilaisuutta hyväkseni ja tein vintagetyylisen (tai shabby chic) äitienpäiväkortin. Kuva on Pion Designin ja paperit Maja Designin Vintage Spring Basics -lehtiöstä. Reunat on ressattu ja käsitelty lumiaineella. Pyöreä tekstileimasin on Circle Itin.

We have a new challenge at Simply Create Too and the theme is pretty women. I made a vintage (or shabby chic) style card for Mother's Day. The image is from Pion Design and papers from Maja Design Vintage Spring Basics pad. I've distressed the edges and put some glitter snow medium there too.

The stamp I've used in my card is from Bildmålarna and I've colored the image with Distess Inks. The papers are from Docrafts Lucy Cromwell pad, I've distressed the edges and added some glitter snow too.

We have a new challenge at Stampavie and More! The theme is favorite colors. I've used turquoise and teal in my card. The image is from The Greeting Farm and I've colored her with ProMarkers, added some glitter glue too and made some pearls around the image using a pearl pen. The papers are from Docrafts Eau de Nil pad.

Pääsiäiskranssi / Easter Wreath

Koristelin kranssipohjan paperinauhalla, puisilla munilla, höyhenillä ja narsissin kukilla.

I decorated the wreath with paper ribbon, wooden eggs, feathers and daffodils.

Tällä kertaa Stampavie and More -haasteen teema on perhoset!
Leimakuva on The Greeting Farmin Butterfly Anya, värittelin ProMarkereilla ja lisäsin vähän kimalleliimaakin. Kuvan ympärille tein helmiä Pearl Penillä. Tekstileikkeessä on kimalleliimaa, lävistetyt perhoset on käsitelty parilla eri glitterillä ja lumiaineella. Paperit ovat Docraftsin Parkstone Pink- ja Lincoln Linen -lehtiöistä.

The new challenge theme over at Stampavie and More is butterflies!
The stamp is Butterfly Anya from The Greeting Farm and I've colored her with ProMarkers, added some glitter glue too. I've used Pearl Pen for the tiny pearls around the image. The punched butterflies have been coated with glitter and snow, there's glitter on the die cut sentiment too. The papers are from Docrafts Parkstone Pink and Lincoln Linen pads.

Uutta haastetta pukkaa Stampavie and Moressa, aiheena on sininen ja valkoinen! Tein talvisen onnea uuteen kotiin -kortin Doodle Factoryn taloleimasimella ja Echo Parkin Winter Park -lehtiön papereilla, joiden reunat ressasin. Kuva on väritetty ProMarkereilla, lisäsin lumeksi vähän lasimurskaa. Uusi koti -tekstileike on käsitelty sinisellä ja valkoisella maalilla.

I have stamped the angelfish on patterned paper and cut them out. The paper in the background is from Docrafts Birdsong pad. I've added little felt fish and pearls for air bubbles.

Meillä on uusi aihe Stampavie and More -haasteessa ja se on lumihiutaleet! Minun kortissani paperit ovat Docraftsin Silent Night -sarjaa, Inkadinkadon linnun leimasin kohojauheella ja sulattelin frantagea ympärille. Puiset hiutaleet ja teksti on maalattu valkoiseksi ja käsitelty vielä kimallemaalilla.

Another challenge has begun at Stampavie and More and the theme is Snowflakes!I have used Docrafts Silent Night papers in my card and heat embossed Inkadinkado's bird. There's frantage aroud the image and the wooden snowflakes and the sentiment have been painted white and again with glitter paint.

Vietämme tänään Isänpäivää ja appiukolle viemme perinteisesti punaviinipullon. Tein pullon kaulaan roikkumaan koristeen DoCraftsin Wellington-sarjan papereilla ja kuvalla.

Today we are celebrating Father's Day here in Finland. We traditionally give my father-in-law a bottle of red wine and this time I made a tag to hang from the bottle neck. The papers and image are from DoCrafts Wellington range.

Stampavie and More #223 - Anything But A Card

Uusi haaste on taas julkaistu Stampavie and Moressa! Aiheena on jotain muuta kuin kortti.
Minä tuunasin laatikon kakkupaperien säilytystä varten. Gessosin laatikon ensin pariin kertaan, koska siinä oli aika voimakas kuvio ja halusin sen piiloon. Sitten kiinnitin Upikitin Peony Love -lehtiön papereita pohjalle ja reunat käsittelin Aleene's Glitter Snowlla. Lävistetyt perhoset käsittelin parilla eri glitterillä ja lumiaineella, kukat värjäsin pinkillä mistillä. Ballerinaleimasin on Stampendousin ja väritin kuvan ProMarkereilla, siivissä on kimalleliimaa.

I recycled a box to keep my doilies in. First I painted teh box with Gesso a few times because the pattern and colors were quite strong and I wanted it all hidden. The I attached some papers from Upikit Peony Love pad on the box and added Aleene's Glitter Snow on the edges. The punched butterflies have been coated with glitter and snow, the flowers got some pink mist on them. The ballet dancer stamp is from Stampendous and I've colored it with ProMarkers and added some glitter glue on the wings.

We have a new challenge theme at Simply Create Too and it's Halloween! I love to make Halloween cards even though it's not celebrated much in Finland. In my DT card I've used papers from Carta Bella All Hallow's Eve pad, I've distressed and inked the edges. The sentiment is a sticker from Authentique Enchanted range.

Ostin leimailutaivaasta ensimmäiset paljettini, niitä kun näkee käytettävän nyt maailmalla todella paljon. P*skiksessa on aiheena paljetit ja niitä käytin tässä talvisessa kortissa korostamaan lumihiutaleita. Kuviopaperi on tullut viimeisimmän Cardmaking & Papercraft -lehden kylkiäisenä.

Tein ensi kuulle tämän kalenterisivun Lili of the Valleyn leimasimella, kuva on väritetty ProMarkereilla ja lisäsin kimalletta hattuun sekä takinliepeisiin. Kimalteinen kuviopaperi on jostain yksittäisestä skräppiarkista.

I went to a Christmas Season Kick-off Craft Event held in our local craft store today. There was a Christmas card workshop where one could make this card.

Koukussa Kortteihin Vintagehaaste #48 - Onnittelukortti eläinihmiselle

Osallistuin tällä kortilla Koukussa Kortteihin -yhteisön Vintagehaasteeseen, jossa oli aiheena tehdä onnittelukortti eläinihmiselle. Tein tämän kortin tytärpuolelleni, joka juuri otti kissanpennun kaveriksi vanhemmalle kissalleen.

Syksyinen CAS-kortti / Autumnal CAS Card

Vaihteeksi Clean And Simple -tyylillä tehty kortti, jossa käytin syksyisiä siirtokuvia ja puisia lintukoristeita. Oksa on stanssattu, lisäsin siihen muutaman timantin.

A Clean And Simple card for a change. I've used autumnal rub-ons and wooden bird embellies in the card. The branch is die cut and I added some rhinestones for bling.

Syksyn keskelle vähän kesäistä tunnelmaa. Leimakuva on The Greeting Farmin ja kuva on väritetty ProMarkereilla. Taustapaperi on Upikitin Peony Love -lehtiöstä. Perhonen on stanssattu ja maalattu kimallemaalilla. 


Some summer feeling in the middle of autumn. The stamp is from The Greeting Farm and I've colored the image with ProMarkers. The patterned paper is from Upikit Peony Love pad. I've die cut the butterfly and painted it with glitter paint.
