Askartelutaivaan jouluhaaste #16

Osallistuin tällä tosi yksinkertaisella joulukortilla Askartelutaivaan joulukorttihaasteeseen, jonka aiheena oli "kerro se kukkasin". Tekstileimasin on Stempelkellerin ja kuviopaperi muistaakseni DoCraftsin At Christmas Time -lehtiöstä.

I took part in a Finnish craft challenge with this very simple card, the theme was Christmas with flowers. If I remember correctly, the designer paper is from DoCrafts' At Christmas Time paper pack.

Tuikkukortti / Tealight Card

Olen mukana Askartelutaivaan Joulukorttihaasteen design teamissa, jee! :)
Tein maanantaina alkaneeseen haasteeseen DT-kortiksi elämäni ensimmäisen tuikkukortin! Ja samaan hengenvetoon ihmettelen, että miksi ihmeessä en ole tehnyt näitä aikaisemmin?? Tätä oli tosi kiva tehdä ja onnistuikin ensimmäiseksi tekeleeksi ihan hyvin. Haasteen aiheena on sininen tunnelma ja valitsinkin korttiin kivan sininen, hiutaleaiheisen paperin Clas Ohlsonin skräppisetistä.

I made my first tealight card and am wondering why I haven't tried these before??  It was fun to make and I like the result. The pretty snowflake paper is from a paper set I bought from Clas Ohlson.

Söpö lumiukkoleimasin on Penny Blackin Snowy, värittelin kuvan Distress-musteilla ja ripottelin ympärille frantage-murusia, lakissa on Diamond Sugar Dustia antamassa kimallusta.

The cute snowman stamp is Snowy from Penny Black. I've colored him with Distress Inks and added some Diamond Sugar Dust glitter on his hat and Frantage embossing powder around the image.

Olen löytänyt kortissa käyttämäni suloisen kettukuvan joltain vintagekuvasivustolta ja tulostanut. Kuviopaperit ovat Dovecraftin Vintage Christmas -lehtiöstä ja kerrostamiseen käytin ekopaperia. Tervehdys on J. K. Primecon joulutekstipakkauksesta.

I've found the cute fox image on some vintage image site and printed it out. The patterned papers are from Dovecraft Vintage Christmas pad and I've used kraft paper for layering.

P*skarteluhaaste #210 - Luonnos

Enpäs tehnytkään joulukorttia P*skiksen tämän viikkoisella luonnoksella! :D Lähellä oli kyllä, mutta anoppi lähti kuukaudeksi Espanjan lämpöön, joten askartelinkin hänelle hyvää matkaa -kortin.
Paperit ovat Marianne Designin ja kuva Graphic45:n. Simpukkaleimat ovat Magnoliaa.

I made a Bon Voyage card for my MIL who took off to Spain for a month. The papers are from Marianne Design and image from Graphic45. Sea shell stamps are from Magnolia.

Toinen Pringles-purkki Tildalla / Another Pringles Tube with Tilda

Tuunasin toisenkin Pringles-purkin joulupukin konttiin, täytän sen siis suklaakonvehdeilla (siihen mahtuu juuri loistavasti Fazerin 350-grammainen laatikollinen, tekijälle jää pari ylimääräistä).
Ekopaperin reunoilla on Aleene's Glitter Snowta, vaaleansininen lumihiutalepaperi on LeCreaDesignin Snow-lehtiöstä ja kultainen hiutalenauha on ostettu joskus Tiimarista.

I pimped up another Pringles carton to give as Christmas present filled with chocolate. There is Aleene's Glitter Snow on the kraft paper, the light blue snowflake paper is from LeCreaDesign Snow pad.

 Tilda on väritetty ProMarkereilla ja korostin kuvaa Diamond Sugar Dust -kimalteella ja sulatin taas frantage-jauhetta reunoille.

I colored Tilda with ProMarkers and added again Diamond Sugar Dust glitter on her hat, the snow heart and on the ground. There's also some Frantage embossing powder around the image.

Uusi haaste taas Simply Create Too -haasteessa! Aiheena on lumi (tai käytä vain valkoista) ja sitäpä olen DT-korttiini yrittänyt laittaa. :)
Ihana lintuleimasin on Stampendousin Snow Bird, värittelin Distress-musteilla. Paperit ovat Bo Bunnyn Powder Mountain -lehtiöstä ja tekstileimasin Stempelkellerin joulusetistä. Stanssatuissa hiutaleissa ja muissa koristeissa on lumiainetta ja Diamond Sugar Dust -kimalletta, samoin kuin leimakuvan tehosteena. Pienet siniset hiutaleet ovat haaraniittejä.

There is a new theme at Simply Create Too Challenge, Snow (or use white)! :) Here's my DT card for the challenge.
The lovely stamp is Snow Bird from Stampendous and I used Distress Inks for coloring. The papers are from Bo Bunny Powder Mountain pad. There is snow medium and Diamond Sugar Dust glitter on the snowflakes and other die cut embellies as well as on the image. The small light blue snowflakes are brads.

Tilda tagissa / Tilda On A Tag

Tein tämän Tildatagin itselleni kirjanmerkiksi (aika luksusta askarrella itselleen, minä ainakin teen sitä liian harvoin!). Värittelin Tildan ProMarkereilla ja lisäsin kuvaan vähän kimalleliimaa. Taustapaperi ja perhoset ovat Bo Bunnyn Gabrielle Collection -lehtiöstä, levittelin reunoille lumiainetta ja mustetta.

I made this tag for myself to be used as a bookmark (what a treat to craft for oneself, I should do it more often!). Tilda has been colored with ProMarkers, I added some glitter glue to the image. The papers and the butterflies are from Bo Bunny's Gabrielle Collection pad and I smeared some snow medium and ink on the edges.

Valkoinen joulukortti / White On White Christmas Card

Kaunis tekstileimasin on Stampendousin, ympärillä on frantage-kohojauhetta. Tausta on kohokuvioitu ihanalla lumihiutaletaskulla, lisäsin reippaasti kimalletta hiutaleisiin ja valkoiseen joulutähteen.

The beautiful stamp is from Stampendous, I sprinkled some Frantage powder around the sentiment. The background has been embossed with a lovely snowflake folder, I added a lot of glitter there and on the white poinsettia.

This is a December page for my colleague's small desk calender. The stamp is from Lili og the Valley and I colored the image with ProMarkers. I added a lot of Diamond Sugar Dust glitter on the image to give it some wintery sparkle. The paperas are from DoCrafts Wellington pad.

Leimakuva on Whiff of Joyn Henry with large bow, käytin värittämiseen Ditress-musteita ja ProMarkereita. Vaaleansiniset paperit ovat Paperblock Baby Blue -lehtiöstä ja roiskin niihin frantage-kohojauhetta reunoille. Kerrostamiseen käyttämäni turkoosin paperin reunat on ressattu ja lisäksi sudin vähän valkoista maalia niihin, samoin kuin kukkiin. Rusetin keskustaksi laitoin kimallepäällysteisen haaraniitin.

The stamp is Henry with large bow from Whiff of Joy, I colored him wirh Distress Inks and ProMarkers. The light blue papers are from Paperblock Baby Blue pad and there is Frantage embossing powder on them. The darker paper I used for layering got distressed and some white paint on the edges. There's paint on the flowers too. I added a glitter coated brad on the little bow.

Suloinen Saturated Canaryn Stinker-leimasin pääsi ensimmäistä kertaa korttiin. Väritin kuvan Distress-musteilla, paperit ovat Maja Designin Vintage Spring Basics -lehtiöstä. Kukissa, papereissa ja leimakuvan reunoilla on frantage-kohojauhetta. Teksti on Heidin Korttipajan kartonkileike.

I inked the cute little Stinker stamp from Saturated Canary for the first time. I used Distress Inks for coloring, the papers are from Maja Design Vintage Spring Basics pad. There's Frantage embossing powder on the papers, flowers and around the image.

Pitkästä aikaa joulukortti Pion Designin suloisella vintagekuvalla. Paperit ovat DoCraftsin Signature-lehtiöstä, reunat on ressattu ja mustettu. Kuvan reunoille roiskin frantage-kohojauhetta ja rosetin tein kakkupaperista. Ihana tekstileimasin on Vilda Stampsin.

It's been a while since I posted the last Christmas card with Pion Design's sweet vintage image. The papers are form DoCrafts Signature paper pack, I've distressed and inked the edges. There's some Frantage embossing powder around the image. I made the rosette using a doily.

Päätin antaa Pringles-purkeille uuden elämän eli koristelen ja täytän ne suklaalla, menevät joululahjoiksi.
Paperit ja piparikoristeet olen saanut jonkun lehden kylkiäisenä. Kakkupaperi ja joulutähti on käsitelty Aleene's Glitter Snowlla ja lisäsin vielä Diamond Sugar Dustia päälle, jotta on varmasti blingblingiä. :)

I decided to give Pringles cartons a new life as Christmas gifts, I'm decorating them and filling with chocolates. 
The papers and gingerbread embellishments came with a magazine long time ago. I used Aleena's Glitter Snow on the doily and poinsettia and added some Diamond Sugar Dust too for extra bling. :)

Väritin Tildan Distress Markereilla (jotka saan oikeasti vasta joululahjaksi, mutta pitihän sitä kokeilla vähän...) ja lisäsin kuvaan vähän kimalleliimaa.

I colored Tilda with Distress Markers (I'm going to get them from Santa but had to try just a bit...) and added some glitter glue to the image.

I made this wine bottle decoration to go with the Father's Day card for my father-in-law, I posted the card earlier. The papers are from My Mind's Eye's Sky's The Limit pad and I've distressed and inked all the edges.

Olen vähän myöhässä tämän päivän postauksen kanssa, tuli juhlittua isänpäivää:)
Teen ensi vuoden kalenteria jo kovalla tohinalla. Tässä lokakuun sivussa käytin Lili of the Valleyn kuvaa, jonka väritin Distress-musteilla. Ihanat muffinssiaiheiset paperit ovat DoCraftsin Little Cake Shoppe -lehtiöstä. Lisäsin kimalleliimaa stanssattuun muffinssiin ja korostin leimakuvan muffinsseja Sakuran kimallekynällä ja glossylla.

I'm a bit late with today's post because it's Father's Day in Finland and I've been busy celebrating. :)
This is a calender page for October next year and the image I used is from Lili of the Valley, I've used Distress Inks for coloring. The lovely cupcake themed papers are from DoCrafts Little Cake Shoppe pad. I added some glitter glue to the die cut cupcake and used Sakura glitter pen and some Glossy Accents on the image.

Isänpäivää / Father's Day

Isänpäivä on huomenna ja tänään esittelen omalle isälleni tekemäni kortin (hän ei lue blogiani, joten yllätys ei mene pilalle). Vintagekuva on Pion Designin ja valitsin nimeomaan tuon kuvan, koska se muistuttaa aika paljon itseäni pienenä. Paperit ovat Carta Bellan Well Traveled -lehtiöstä, reunat on ressattu ja mustettu. Kukat stanssasin kahvin suodatinpusseista. Pyöreä tekstileimasin on Circle Itin.

We celebrate Father's Day tomorrow here in Finland and today I'm sharing a card I made for my dad (he doesn't read my blog so it won't spoil the surprise). The vintage image is from Pion Design and I chose specifically this image because it resembles me when I was little. The papers are From Carta Bella Well Traveled pad, I've distressed and inked the edges. The flowers have been die cut from coffee filters.

Pieni lahjakin on ollut tapana antaa isänpäivänä, tällä kertaa paketoin sen tähän pieneen pussiin, jonka koristelin saman Carta Bella -lehtiön papereilla.

I made this little gift bag to go with the card. I used the same Carta Bella papers.

Paperit ovat DoCraftsin Lucy Cromwellia, roiskin taas frantage-jauhetta papereille sekä ressasin ja mustetin reunat. Perhoskorttileimasin on Stampendousin valmistama ja värittelin perhosen Spectrum Noireilla. Tekstileimasin on Nea-Idean.

There's a new challenge at Simply Create Too! The theme for the next fortnight is Give Thanks and my DT card is a kind of vintage styled thank you card. The papers are from DoCrafts Lucy Cromwell pad and I've distressed and inked the paper edges plus played with Frantage embossing powder again. The stamp is from Stampendous and I colored the butterfly with my Spectrum Noirs.

P*skiksen tämän viikon aiheena on leimakuva pääosassa, ihanan helppo. :) Kortissa käyttämäni leimasin on Sarah Kayn Stampavielle suunnittelema, värittelin kuvan ProMarkereilla. Paperit ovat silppukasastani, enkä valitettavasti tiedä mistä lehtiöstä alunperin ovat.

The stamp is designed by Sarah Kay for Stampavie and I've used ProMarkers for coloring. Unfortunately the papers are from my scrap stash and I don't know which pad they're from.

Simppeli joulukortti / CAS Christmas Card

Tällainen yksinkertainen joulukortti syntyi LeCreaDesignin kuviopaperista, mustetetusta valkoisesta kartongista ja tarroista.

I made this CAS (cleand and simple) Christmas card using LeCreaDesing's paper, inked white cardstock and stickers.

Norsu ja perhoset / Elephant With Butterflies

Tein tällaisen nopean kortin, jossa en käyttänyt tällä kertaa ainoatakaan leimasinta. Norsupaperi on First Edition Paperin Animal Antics -lehtiöstä ja muut paperit ostin Leimailutaivaasta yksittäisinä skräppiarkkeina, joten en saa valmistajaa kaivettua tähän hätään.

A simple card without stamps this time. The elephant paper is from First Edition Paper Animal Antics pad and the other papers I bought as single sheets from a craft fair so I unfortunately don't know the manufacturer.

Huurteinen lumiukkokortti / Frosty Snowman Card

Ostin tässä kortissa käyttämäni Magnolian lumiukkoleimasimen Sinellin askartelukirppikseltä viikko sitten. Värittelin sitä vähän Distress-musteilla ja lisäsin Diamond Sugar Dustia sekä kimalleliimaa kuvaan. Paperit ovat LeCreaDesignsin paitsi kuvan alla oleva palleropaperi, joka on Bo Bunnyn Powder Mountain -lehtiöstä. Taustapaperin reunoille levitin Anita's Glitter Snowta, joka on kimaltava lumiefektiaine, ripottelin sen päälle vielä frantage mica -hiutaleita tuomaan lisää blingblingiä. :) Ihana joulutekstileimasin on Vilda Stampsin valmistama.

The lovely snowman stamp is from Magnolia and I colored it a bit with Distress Inks. I also added some Diamond Sugar Dust and glitter glue on the image. The papers are from LeCreaDesigns except for the dotty paper under the image which is from Bo Bunny's Powder Mountain pad. I used Anita's Glitter Snow on the edges of the background paper and added some Frantage Mica Fragments too for extra bling. :)

Joulunalle / Christmas Teddy

Suloinen nalleleimasin on Forever Friendsiä, olen käyttänyt sitä tosi paljon joulukorteissa. Kuva on väritetty ProMarkereilla ja lakkiin sekä maahan lisäsin Diamond Sugar Dust -kimalletta. Joulutähdet on stanssattu kuultopaperista, kaikki kortissa käyttämäni paperit ovat DoCraftsin Silent Night -sarjaa. Tekstileimasin on Circle Itin.

The lovely teddy stamp from Forever Friend range and I've used it a lot in Christmas cards during the years. I've colored the image with ProMarkers and added some Diamond Sugar Dust glitter to the hat and on the ground as snow. The poinsettias have been die cut from vellum, all the papers are from DoCrafts Silent Night range.

Syksyinen onnittelukortti / Autumnal Card

Marraskuussa ollaan jo, huhhuh. Tosi nopeasti mennyt tämä syksy, sen kunniaksi vielä yksi syksyinen kortti. Leimasin on CC Designsin Party Lucy, värittelin ProMarkereilla. Papereina käytin Bo Bunnyn Camp-a-lot Collectionia. Puisiin sienikoristeisiin sipaisin vähän mustetta.

The cute stamp is Party Lucy from CC Designs and I've colored her with ProMarkers. The papers are from Bo Bunny Camp-a-lot Collection pad. I inked  the wood veneer mushrooms a bit.
