Käytin kortissani Magnolian lumiukkoleimasinta. Kuva on väritetty ProMarkereilla ja hattuun lisäsin kimalletta. Paperit ovat Docraftsin Penelope & Percy -lehtiöstä.

Minun kortissani on käytetty Magnolian tossuleimaa, väritin kuvan Distress-musteilla. Ruusupaperi on Pion Designin, olen tuhrinut lumiainetta paperien reunoille. Huopatähdet ovat tarroja.

I've used Magnolia's stamp and colored the image with Distress Inks. The vintage paper with roses is from Pion Design, I've smeared some glitter snow on paper edges. The felt stars are stickers.

Stampavie and More Challenge #218 - Easel Card

Telinekortteja tulee tehtyä tosi harvoin eli tämä kortti oli minulle kivaa vaihtelua. Stampavie and Moressa alkoi siis uusi haaste ja aiheena on tietty telinekortti!

Käytin DT-kortissani Magnolian leimakuvaa, jonka värittelin ProMarkereilla. Lisäsin tuulilasiin ja lamppuhin glossyä. Vihreässä taustapaperissa on helmiäistä, lisäsin siihen tekstuuria kohopastalla maskaten. Ratas on kartonkileike, jonka käsittelin Crackle Accentsillä ja musteella.

Our new challenge at Stampavie and More is to make an easel card! I used a Magnolia stamp called Edwin's Car in my DT card which I will give to my dad as a Birthday card. The image has been colored with ProMarkers and I added Glossy Accents on the windows and lamps. I masked some embossing paste on the pearlecent green background paper to create texture.

Rannalla / By The Sea

Kokeilin ensimmäistä kertaa maalarinteippitekniikkaa taustassa, inspiraationa toimi tämä kaunis kortti. Tausta siis leimattu maalarinteipillä kolmea eri Distress-mustetta käyttäen. Meriaiheiset leimasimet ovat Magnoliaa. Tekstileimasin on Stempelkellerin.

I tried the painter's tape technique in the background for the first time, got inspired by this awesome card. I used three Distress Inks for the background and seashell stamps from Magnolia.

Stampavie and More #214 - Swirls and Pearls

Meillä on kiva uusi haaste Stampavie and Moressa, kiehkurat ja helmet! Tein DT-korttini Magnolian leimakuvalla, joka on väritetty Distress-musteilla. Kuvan ympärillä on taas frantagea, joka yksi lemppariaineistani. Paperit ovat Maja Designin Vintage Spring Basics -lehtiöstä, reuna on ressattu ja lisäsin yläreunaan vähän siirtokuvapitsiä. Pyöreä tervehdysleimasin on Circle Itin.

We have a fun new challenge at Stampavie and More, the theme for the next two weeks is to use pearls and swirls! I made a card with Magnolia's cute stamp, the image is colored with Distress Inks. There is Frantage again around the image (I love the stuff!). The papers are from Maja Design Vintage Spring Basics pad, I have distressed the edges and added a bit of rub-on lace at the top.

Miss Muu

Tässä kortissa käyttämäni Magnolian lehmäleimasin on uusi ostos, väritin kuvan Distress-musteilla. Paperit ovat My Mind's Eyen On The Bright Side -lehtiöstä, reunat on ressattu ja kerrostukset tehty ekopaperilla. Sulattelin kartonkileiketervehdyksen päälle ja kuvan ympärille vähän frantage-kohojauhetta.

I have just bought the lovely Magnolia cow stamp and had to make a card with it. The image is colored with Distress Inks and the papers are form My Mind's Eye's On The Bright Side paper pad. I used kraft paper for layering and distressed all the edges. There's Frantage embossing powder around the image and on the die cut sentiment.

Askartelutaivaan Magnoliahaaste #24 - Muotokortti

Tämän kertaisessa Askartelutaivaan Magnoliahaasteessa tehdään muotokortteja eli kortin täytyy olla jotain muuta kuin neliö!
Omaan DT-työhöni leikkasin neliökorttipohjasta eri muotoisen GoKreaten stanssilla. Leimasin on tietysti Magnoliaa ja värittelin tällä kertaa Spectrum Noireilla. Kuvan ympärille tein pieniä helmiä Pearl Penillä, siipiin lisäsin kimalleliimaa. Taustapaperi on DoCraftsin Lemon Sorbet -lehtiöstä, leimailin siihen hunajakennoja Bo Bunnyn leimasimella ja kohokuvioin mustalla jauheella. Pyöreä tekstileimasin on Circle Itin.

The cute little Tilda has been colored with Spectrum Noirs for a change, there's glitter glue on the wings. I added some tiny pearls around the image with Pearl Pen. The yellow paper is from DoCrafts Lemon Sorbet pad and I used Bo Bunny's honeycomb stamp and black embossing powder to make the background.

Joulukorttihaasteessa bingoillaan! Minun rivini on punainen - tonttu - kimalle. Magnolian leimakuva on väritetty ProMarkereilla, hatussa on lisäksi kimaltelevaa samettiainetta. Paperit ovat Kaisercraftin Belle Collection -lehtiöstä, stanssattuun tähteen lisäsin kimalleliimaa.

Askartelutaivaan Magnoliahaaste #23 - Vanhin Magnolialeimasin

Moikka taas, Askartelutaivaan Magnoliahaasteessa aiheena nyt käyttää vanhinta Magnolialeimasintaan! Minun vanhin Mankkuleimani on tuo tulppaani, jota olenkin ahkerasti käyttänyt vuosien varrella, etenkin pääsiäiskorteissa.
Tähän korttiin väritin kuvan ProMarkereilla ja korostin kukkia glossyllä, mikä ei tietenkään näy kuvassa. Kuviopaperi on DoCraftsin Lemon Sorbet -lehtiöstä ja tekstileimasin Stempelkellerin valmistama.

The tulip stamp is from Magnolia and I colored the image with ProMarkers. There's Glossy Accents on the flowers but it doesn't show in the photo at all. The paper is from DoCrafts Lemon Sorbet pad.

Liukasta laskiaista / Shrove Tuesday Card

Laskiaiskortti Magnolian leimasimella, kuva on väritetty Distress-musteilla ja laseihin lisäsin glossyä. Tausta on tehty KaiserCraftin Grid-leimasimella, kerrostukset ovat helmiäiskartongista, reunoja mustetettu. Tekstileimasin on Nea-Idean.

Shrove Tuesday (or Mardi Gras) is a day for winter sports, especially sliding in Finland. I made this card with Magnolia's stamp, I've colored the image with Distress Inks and added some Glossy Accents to the glasses.
I made the background with KaiserCraft's Grid stamp.

Taas on uuden aiheen aika Askartelutaivaan Magnoliahaasteessa. Tällä kertaa haasteena on tehdä mahdollisimman yksinkertainen kortti.
Oma DT-työni on joulukortti, jossa käytin kuvana Magnolian talvimaisemaa. Värittelin vähän kaikella; musteilla, tusseilla, chalkseilla ja on siellä kimalleliimaakin. :) Taustaksi kohokuvioin valkoista kartonkia. Tekstileimasin on Stempelkellerin joulusetistä.

I have a CAS Christmas card to share today. The pretty winter scene stamp is from Magnolia and I've colored it with Distress Inks, markers, chalks and glitter glue... :) I embossed some white cardstock in the background.

Kuvassa ja stanssatussa jätskitötterössä on kimalleliimaa. Paperit ovat DCWV:n Sweet Matstack -lehtiöstä ja tekstileimasin on Paperinauhan myymästä setistä.

A Magnolia card to share today. I've used ProMarkers for coloring Tilda, I tried some new shades for the blond hair and am not that happy with the result. I added glitter glue to the image and the die cut ice cream. The papers are from DCWV Sweet Matstack pad.

Onnea kukkasin / Congrats With Flowers

Tilda-korttia vaihteeksi. Olen ostanut muutaman uuden (vanhoista kokoelmista, alennusmyynneistä) Magnolian leimasimen viime aikoina, joten niistä pitää toki väsätä kortteja.
Tähän korttiin värittelin Tildan Distress Markereilla kuvan reunoilla on frantage-kohojauhetta. Paperit ovat DoCraftsin Lucy Cromwellia ja ressasin reunoja reilusti. Siniset paperit gessosin, koska väri oli liian ärhäkkä. Viireihin tein kirjaimet kirkkaasta dymoteipistä, pitsiperhoset leikkasin nauhasta yksittäisiksi koristeiksi.

I've used Distress Markers for coloring Tilda, there's Frantage powder around the image. The papers are from DoCrafts Lucy Cromwell pad, I've distressed the edges. I toned down the blue papers with gesso, the original color was too bright. The letters on the banners are made with clear Dymo tape and the lace butterflies I cut out to use as single embellies.

Askartelutaivaan Magnoliahaaste #20

Pääsin mukaan Askartelutaivaan Magnoliahaasteen design tiimiin! :) Tämä on ensimmäinen DT-työni, haasteen aiheena on "vanhasta uutta". Tuunasin Lakrisal-purkista jouluisen ja täytin sen suklaakonvehdeilla.
Magnolian olkipukki on väritetty ProMarkereilla ja kuvan reunoille sulattelin vähän frantage-jauhetta antamaan tekstuuria. Hopeiseen paperiin liimasin valkoisia lumihiutaletarroja.

I made a gift from a Lakrisal tube and filled it with chocolates. The straw buck stamp is from Magnolia, I colored the image with ProMarkers and melted some Frantage powder around it. The snowflakes on the silver paper are stickers.
